May 21st 1996
Burgess Hill Albion Football Club is formed by a group of teenagers from the West Sussex Area who attended the Burgess Hill Baptist Church Youth Club. Its original name was Baptist Dynamoes, changed at the clubs first AGM (21st May 1996) to Burgess Hill Albion Football Club. The club joins the Crawley & District Football League, appointing John Billinghay as the First Team manager.
April 30th 1997
Burgess Hill Albion finished Runners up in the Crawley League Division 3, a great achievement in their first season.
May 22nd 1997
Burgess Hill Albion had such success in there first year that they formed a Reserve Team and both teams entered into the Mid Sussex league in Division 4 and Division 9. A selection committee was appointed to manage the First Team and Ady Buckfield was appointed to manage the Reserve Team.
November 22nd 1997
Burgess Hill Albion appointed Roger Sawyers as Caretaker manager for the First Team.
September 1st 1998
Neil Booth was appointed manager of Burgess Hill Albion First Team and Stephen Humphreys took charge of Burgess Hill Albion Reserves.
April 30th 1999
Burgess Hill Albion Reserves got promoted to Division 8 under the guidance of manager Stephen Humphreys in his first season.
August 1st 1999
Mark Stone replaced Stephen Humphreys as manager of Burgess Hill Albion Reserves. Burgess Hill Albion formed a Sunday Team which joined the Sussex Sunday League Division 7, appointing Peter Billinghay as manager.
November 6th 1999
Marvin Leppard and Des Saunders took charge of the Reserve Team.
April 30th 2000
Unfortunately Burgess Hill Albion Reserves couldn’t sustain there time in Division 8 and were relegated back to Division 9.

This proved to be a year for the Evans brothers, Dave Evans being appointed manager of Burgess Hill Albion Reserves and Paul Evans being appointed manager of Burgess Hill Albion Sunday Team. All managers had a comfortable season with retaining league positions.
January 10th 2001
After 3 years with Burgess Hill Albion First Team Neil Booth resigns as manager replaced by Mark Stone.
August 1st 2001
Stuart Ralph appointed manager of Burgess Hill Albion Reserves.
December 30th 2001
After only 4 months in charge Stuart Ralph resigned as Reserve Team manager to be replaced by Caretaker manager Dave Evans
April 30th 2002
Finally Mark Stone’s hard work paid off and Burgess Hill Albion First Team were promoted as champions of Division 4. Burgess Hill Albion Sunday Team were promoted into Division 8 from a league re-shuffle.
August 1st 2002
Burgess Hill Albion Reserves appointed Dan Mummery as manager, in which would prove to be a massive turning point in the clubs history. Paul Evans resigned on a high, and the Ravens appointed Dylan Berry and Neil Lucey as Sunday Team joint-managers.

Successful Reserve Team manager back in April 1999 Stephen Humphreys would get appointed with the First Team managers job in which would prove to be a good choice.

Dan Mummery’s first season as manager got of to a good start, the Reserves being promoted as Champions of Division 9.

Andrew Price was appointed manager of Burgess Hill Albion Sunday Team.

In 2003-2004 season something happened I don't think the Robert Gray & Co Mid Sussex Football League has ever witnessed before and will never witness again. Hot shot Neil Lucey scored 5 hat-trick's in as many games for Burgess Hill Albion Football Club. What made this so unique was all 5 hat-tricks where scored 1 game after another.

A great year for the club, Stephen Humphreys lead the first team to promotion into Division 2, promoted Runners up of Division 3, the highest the club has ever gone. The Reserves got promoted as Champions of Division 8, number two for manager Dan Mummery.
August 7th 2004
Burgess Hill Albion formed a Third Team entering the Robert Gray & Co.Mid-Sussex Football League Division 9 and appointed Adrian Buckfield for his second time in management.

Andrew Price resigns as Sunday Team manager to be replaced by Glenn Piper.

Burgess Hill Albion First Team reached there first ever semi-final in the Edgar German Challenge Cup only to lose to Willingdon Athletic II 2-0.

There was just no stopping Dan Mummery and the Reserve Team who were again promoted as Champions of Division 7, a treble of championships. The best any Albion manager has achieved to date, quiet an accomplishment.

Burgess Hill Albion First Team reached there second semi-final in the MSFL Junior Charity Cup but lost again to Willingdon Athletic II 1-0, who went on to win in the final 3-1 to Newick II.

Dan Mummery’s achievements just kept getting better and better and he took the Reserves to the clubs first ever cup final. The Malins Challenge Cup Final at Hanbury Park Haywards Heath against Keymer & Hassock (Division 6 side). Albion fans travelled from all over to support the club in there first cup final and the attendance was near 200. Unfortunately Albion lost 5-1 Jon Wright the Albion goal scorer, the result something to forget about but not the experience and especially not the atmosphere for player or fan. Something that is still talked about in the club and will be for many years.

Burgess Hill Albion Football Club 10year Anniversary, a match was organised to celebrate this amazing club achievement. The game was played under floodlights at Hassocks Football Club with players from the 1996 team against a Albion Select XI for this special occasion.

Burgess Hill Albion Sunday Team folded after 6 seasons in the Sussex Sunday League.
February 25th 2006
Burgess Hill Albion Reserves got to the semi-final of the Malins Challenge Cup only to be knocked out by winners Copthorne Rovers II 1-0. Rovers went on to beat Newick II 4-0 in the final.

Another year another promotion for Burgess Hill Albion Reserves under the management of Dan Mummery. Reserves promoted Runners up of Division 6 missing out at being promoted as Champions by 1 point.

After 4 successive season's and 1 cup final Dan Mummery the best manager to date finally stepped down as Reserve Team manager and is replaced by Andy Whitworth. Fred Stringer is brought in to take charge of Burgess Hill Albion Third Team.

Burgess Hill Albion First Team managed by Paul McDermott-roe made Albion history by getting to the MSFL Junior Charity Cup Final at Hanbury Park against Franklands Village. Unfortunately they lost 3-0 to Franklands Village, but disregarding the result it was another momentous evening for Burgess Hill Albion Football Club.
May 7th 2007
Due to horrendous weather conditions all Divisions in the Gray Hooper Holt LIP Mid Sussex Football League were split into two due to lack of games played, a lot of games being call-off due to waterlogged pitches. The outcome of this one off season saw Burgess Hill Albion Reserves under newly appointed manager Andy Whitworth promoted up to Division 4, finishing Runners up in Division 5, unfortunately losing in a play-off final 1-0 to Lingfield III in a game played at Huggetts Lane in Eastbourne. And also saw Burgess Hill Albion Third Team managed by Fred Stringer promoted as Runners up from Division 8 into Division 7, Albion losing there play-off final 1-0 to Scaynes Hill at Leylands Park home Burgess Hill Town Football Club.

First Team captain Dave Bannister is appointed First Team manager.

After 6 seasons in Division 2 unfortunately Burgess Hill Albion First Team are relegated into Division 3. Fred Stringer is promoted to Reserve Team manager and ex-player Chris Dunn is appointed Third Team manager.
April 15th 2009
Burgess Hill Albion Reserves avoid relegation from Division 4 thanks to Dan Butson scoring the only goal in the game against Crowborough Athletic III.

Burgess Hill Albion First Team reached the Junior Charity Cup Semi-Final, unfortunately Albion lost to Keymer & Hassock 3 - 2 in a tightly fought match.

Adrian Buckfield has been appointed 3rd Team Manager for the second time. Chris Dunn resigned to pursue his playing career.

Striker Peter Billinghay becomes the first player to play over 400 games for Burgess Hill Albion Football Club

Congratulations to Manager Dave Bannister and the Burgess Hill Albion First Team who reached the Edgar German Challenge Cup Final versus Ashurst Wood, Albion were victorious on the night at Leylands Park winning 3-0, goals scored by Mark Collison, Kevin Lane and Paul Dixon, with Chris Iddles getting Man of the Match. A truly special day for the club.

Burgess Hill Albion First Team are promoted back to Division 2 as Division 3 Runners up, the team missed out by 2 points of becoming champions. A league reshuffle means that Burgess Hill are put into Division 1.

Burgess Hill Albion First Team complete the treble, sealing a fantastic win against Willingdon Athletic II in the Stubbins Challenge Cup Final at Hanbury Park, Haywards Heath. Albion won 2-0 with goals from striker Chris Iddles and midfielder Luke Vick, marking a very unique day for the players but most of all the clubs history.

Burgess Hill Albion appoint Ex-player Ben Hopkins as Third Team Manager after the resignation of Fred Stringer.

Burgess Hill Albion First team complete back to back promotions finishing Runners Up of Mid Sussex Football League Division 1 and enter Intermediate football in the Gray Hooper Holt LLP Championship League.

Joint Reserve Team Managers Chris Dunn and Steve Kingcome step down, the club appoint Neil Williams as the their new manager. The club introduce a Burgess Hill Albion Vets Team and appoint Kevin Hale as Manager.
